Where can I find information on pricing?

Pricing including all available user packages are available for you to view in the Vizlib user portal - you need to login or click the link in your download email to access the portal.

What is a user license?

The Vizlib user license allows an individual to use all Vizlib extensions in the whole Qlik Sense environment based on their UserID, this is the same whether they are an app developer, app user or end user. A vizlib license will account for all use cases for that one named user. A Vizlib user license is the same as an assigned Qlik Sense Token.

How are user licenses assigned?

Licenses are consumed on a first come first serve basis. You do not need to name every user, the licenses will be allocated as people start to use the Vizlib extensions.

Can I release user licenses for a different user?

Yes, when subscribed to Vizlib Professional, you can log in to the Vizlib portal and release licenses, these will then be consumed by the next new user.

Can I add or reduce the number of users after I sign up?

Yes, you can log in to the Vizlib portal and increase or decrease the number of users as you wish.

How do you handle billing if I change the number of users mid month?

We automatically do a pro rata calculation. So if you have 10 users for the first half of the month and you add another 3 users, you will only be charged for the additional users in the second half of the month.

Will the per user price change in the future?

For existing customers we do not plan on increasing our per user price. This means the sooner you buy Vizlib the sooner you lock in the value, as we intend to grow the library substantially!

We have 1,000s of users - can we use Vizlib?

Yes, we provide a package called Vizlib Enterprise for large deployments and OEM use cases that provides unlimited users access to Vizlib per site. Contact us and we can work with you to get Vizlib deployed in your enterprise environment. support@vizlib.com

Vizlib was actually conceived and built by a team of dedicated Qlik experts while we were working in some of the largest Qlik customers to solve our own problems, so we have a deep understanding of how to get Vizlib working for you and the challenges you will be facing in a large enterprise.

We would like to pre-pay an annual or semi-annual subscription of Vizlib, is this possible?

Yes - please reach out to us on support@vizlib.com and we can happily help you subscribe to Vizlib for longer periods

Do you accept payment methods other than Credit Cards?

Yes, we do also accept bank transfers for pre-paid subscriptions for 6 months or longer and for a minimum of 25 users. Please reach out to us on support@vizlib.com.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you are at liberty to cancel your subscription at any time. After this, Vizlib will only be accessible to the first 5 users.

Does Vizlib look at any of my data?

Vizlib does not transfer any data outside of the client site. Our platform is push only, meaning we only do a license check then push the code to be executed on the local machine. It works the same way Qlik Sense Server authenticates the license.

Does Vizlib work offline?

For some customers, their environment may not have an outside internet connection. Vizlib enterprise customers have the ability to download the extensions for use in offline mode, which means no API call is required to validate the extension usage.

I have a feature or extension request, will you add it to your library?

Vizlib is 100% driven by customer requirements with the vision to build a product tailored to Qlik user's needs. Feel free to drop us a note on support@vizlib.com (or a list of requirements) and we promise to have a look at them and come back to you. If it's something we feel would benefit a lot of our users, we will certainly put it on our task list, or if not, at least provide you with an alternative way to solve your requirements. Please understand that we reserve the right to prioritise requests at our own discretion and can not commit to timelines.
